Sourcefabric is a nonprofit organisation that builds open source tools for media organisations all over the world. We’re looking for an experienced full-stack web developer to join our Airtime team in Belgrade.
Airtime is a platform for broadcasting streaming radio on the web. It allows users to upload music, build playlists, schedule content and broadcast on the web.

Your duties
* Work in a small team of talented developers, QA engineers and web designers, following agile practices * Work with the Airtime project manager on the conception and realisation of new product features * Use your deep understanding of web technologies and APIs to advise on the system’s architecture and to coordinate frontend and backend development * Contribute and implement new features * Focus on code quality and testability * Share your knowledge of good code practices with the rest of the team * Continually improve technical processes to get us operating more efficientlyRequired qualifications
* Proficiency in PHP and Python * A good understanding of object oriented design, software design patterns, web application architecture, and security * A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field * Prior experience working on at least one large, shipped software project (at least 1M LOC) * A strong background with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and a decent working knowledge of SQL and ORMs * Experience with at least one major web framework (eg. Django, Flask, Symfony, or a front-end JS framework like Angular) * Must be competent and comfortable with Linux * You must have an excellent ability to problem solve, troubleshoot, take initiative, and are a quick learner * Fluent English is a mustPreferred qualifications
* Knowledge and experience in any of the following C++, C, Java, AMQP, audio software experience, Zend framework, Fabric, Dev Ops * Knowledge like orchestration and deployment tools, Apache, nginx, a love of PEP8What we offer
