About the role
This is our first demand generation hire and you’ll be reporting directly to the VP of Marketing. You’ll be expected to take on significant ownership, prioritize programs based on impact, and be an essential part of our go-to-market function.

About you
You’re a digital marketer who has experience engaging audiences throughout an entire lifecycle, and who understands the nuances between different audiences. You’ve learned and mastered best practices, but are looking to break beyond their mold and try new things, using all of the tools at your disposal to drive results. Mastery of your craft lets you unlock your skills in new ways, such as by applying consumer or enterprise B2B marketing approaches to a developer-first, product-led motion. Bottoms-up, tops-down, ABM, segmentation, vertical campaigns — these are all motions you’re comfortable with.

What you’ll do

  • Develop our overall demand generation strategy including target audiences, messages, and organic + paid channels
  • Set the baseline objectives and metrics for our digital marketing program, and create a monitoring and reporting framework for them
  • Design digital and IRL campaigns including their strategy and execution using a fast, iterative, measurable process
  • Experiment with different channels and messages that resonate with our target audience segments, determine what’s efficient, and optimize resource allocation
  • Collaborate closely with the product team and our sales team’s outbound efforts, helping create measurable and effective visitor and prospect journeys
  • Create a solid foundation of digital marketing and demand generation best practices

You are ideal for this role if you have

  • Worked in enterprise tech marketing and are very familiar with security engineer or developer personas
  • Adept at experimenting with different channels, messages, and strategies to connect with hard-to-reach audiences
  • Experienced at balancing the mix of paid and organic channels to effectively reach different target segments
  • Can confidently recommend digital budgets and forecast their performance
  • Can run A/B or multivariate campaign tests and know how to prototype and test a campaign before scaling up
  • Very familiar with tools such as Salesforce, Google Analytics, and data aggregation/reporting tools
  • Experience executing ad campaigns
  • Excellent analytical skills matched with the ability to distill data into understandable and actionable findings
  • Experience running marketing campaigns alongside product-led growth (PLG) initiatives is a big plus

You will need working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English. We work as a hybrid on-site / remote organization. r2c primarily works in the Pacific, Eastern, and Central EU time zones.
