Web Developer Full-time

EyeSeeTea, a Spanish startup in the NGO and science research domain, is looking for a Web Developer to join its engineers’ team. We are looking for developers with front-end web experience and proficient in JavaScript (react, nodejs/npm, etc) with a passion for clean code.

One of our main clients is WHO and we have worked with them on several projects to create tools to improve public health. Our experience and mindset is also with Information and Communication Technologies for Development (ICT4D), creating appropriate technologies for human development.

We only work with FOSS (Free and open-source software), it’s our philosophy, and we’re proud of it. Our company is rapidly growing and has a high projection in the world of IT for developing environments and research.

Looking for people who are looking for a stable position and 100% remote work. You choose if you want to work a 20 hours week, a 40 hours one or anything in between. Except for some meetings, you will enjoy flexible hours.

We offer a career plan, with a transparent salary table according to established levels of seniority. You won’t have to worry about negotiations or ask for salary raises.

Indefinite employment contract with a 6 months trial.

Junior Salary Range: 18k-30k

Senior Salary Range: 30k-51k

What do we want?

• 2-3 years Front-End Web Development experience would be great.

• Proficient in JavaScript: react, nodejs/npm, etc.

• Experience with REST API and relational databases.

• Git repositories.

• Fluent in English.

Will also be valued:

• Some experience as a project manager or managing small teams.
• Code management through Github.
• Experience with DHIS2.
• Experience with Python, Ruby on Rails & Java.
• High independence, autonomy & experience in teleworking.
• Fluent in Spanish.

Nice to have:

• UI/UX.
• Other languages, especially French.
• NGO on-the-field experience in developing countries.
• Agile project methodologies.
• nix environments & sysadmin skills

How will be the selection process?

We don’t believe in interminable selection processes. Send us your resume and if you have, a portfolio or the link to your github. We will review your CV and ask you to meet for a 30 minutes interview. If we seem a good fit, we will send you a technical test in the date you choose and you will have 24 hours to work on it when you want to. Then we will arrange another interview to discuss your test. That’s it. No more interviews or tests.
