Company Description

The Linux Foundation

The Linux Foundation is much more than Linux. Over the last two decades, it has become the largest open source shared technology investment in the world, providing a home for individual, corporate and public sector contributors to collaborate on open source software, open standards, open data, and open hardware projects across industries and regions. Projects need more than a source control system or a license to scale, and the Linux Foundation accelerates the entire developer ecosystem, with free tools tailored to key stakeholders driving project development, including maintainers, contributors, community managers, and corporate stakeholders.

Linux Foundation Europe

Linux Foundation Europe was launched in September 2022 to facilitate open collaborations originating in Europe that succeed on the global scale, supporting one of the largest and most influential open source ecosystems in the world.
