AllerLeih e.V., a non-profit from Lüneburg, Germany, builds a decentralised open-source platform that makes lending and sharing everyday items easy. We are looking for a Software Engineer (DevOps) to turn our local prototype into a federated architecture (the "Fediverse of Things") and run it. You take technical responsibility for architecture, development and operation, coordinate volunteer developers, and keep the platform accessible (WCAG) and privacy-compliant. Everything you build is public good.

Requirements: degree in computer science or a related field (or vocational training with equivalent proven experience); solid web development and API design; experience operating production web applications (Docker, Kubernetes or similar, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, monitoring).
Terms: part-time (about 23 hours/week), roughly EUR 29,000-32,000 gross per year, fixed term 1 April 2027 to 31 December 2028, location-independent.
