Description

We are looking for a Content Manager who will be responsible for driving the entire content strategy of the company. As the first Content Manager of the company, you will be responsible for setting the foundations and guidelines that will be followed for the years to come. For this reason, some level of seniority is required. You should feel comfortable taking the lead and paving the way.

Passbolt is an open source and technology company innovating in the field of cybersecurity. Consequently, our Content Manager should eat and breathe technology and have a strong understanding of both open source and cybersecurity. Basically, we are looking for talented developers that decided to embrace their literary side, or for writers that are not afraid to write code in their free time.

Our strategy is Product Led. You will be expected to understand the technology and products we are building inside out, and find creative and appealing narratives around it which you’ll articulate and broadcast through our various communication channels: website, social media, emails, community forums.

We are looking for candidates who possess the ability to think both creatively and analytically. Content manager duties include producing and publishing content, writing, editing and proofreading, formulating content strategies and managing a future content team, among other tasks.

Content managers should be comfortable finding creative ways of building an online presence, as well as using analytics in the formulation of a content strategy.

Main responsibilities

Social Media and Content Management

  • Formulating a cross-platform content strategy.
  • Writing, editing and proofreading content.
  • Brainstorm with team members to develop new ideas, build new content arcs.
  • Build a following on social media.
  • Provide editorial, creative and technical support to team members.
  • Track web analytics to ascertain content engagement levels.
  • Manage content across all platforms, including email and social media.

Required skills

  • Native or fluent in English.
  • Proficient with technology.
  • 3 / 4 years experience in a similar role, preferably for a technology company.
  • Adept at keyword placement and SEO best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly computer literate and advanced knowledge of HTML.
  • Experience with social media management.
  • Creativity and the ability to develop original content.
  • Ability to develop content that provokes engagement.
  • Comfortable working in full autonomy.
  • Strong leadership qualities.
