The Sovereign Tech Fund secures digital infrastructure in the public interest. Our mission is to strengthen digital sovereignty, fostering competition and innovation by investing in critical open source infrastructure and the ecosystems that support it. In this way, we are providing the basis for a stable, trustworthy, and democratic digital future.

The Sovereign Tech Fund is the flagship program of the Sovereign Tech Agency, a new organization at the intersection of technology, politics, and public stewardship. Our work aims not only to strengthen the open source ecosystem, but also to shape its future.

As Head of the Sovereign Tech Fund, you will be responsible for the strategy, operations, and staffing of the Sovereign Tech Agency's core program. You will report to the director of programs and work closely with the technical director, continue to develop our investment strategies, and ensure that our work targets the areas where it will have the greatest technological and societal impact.

Since its launch in 2022, the Sovereign Tech Fund has become an internationally visible program. Our work is inspiring similar initiatives worldwide, and we are now in a pivotal phase as we mature and scale our operations. We are looking for an experienced and visionary leader for the Sovereign Tech Fund who will lead and actively shape this evolution.
